About Bos Sod Farms

Mission Statement: "We are dedicated in providing turfgrass solutions to meet the evolving needs of the professional turf manager and homeowner by supplying quality products and services through innovation and integrity." 

Bos Sod Farms Inc started growing sod in British Columbia in 1993, to service the residential and commercial market with quality sod. We have developed a special focus to service the professional market; namely athletic fields and golf courses including sod products for greens.

The service area includes the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Our sister farm Bos Sod in located in Coaldale, AB and grows sod for the Southern Alberta & South Western BC market. Bos Sod Farms is owned and operated by Bert and Debbie Bos, who were privileged to win the 2007 Outstanding Young Farmers Award of BC

The majority of our sod products are grown on 3mm washed sand, compatible with USGA root zone mixes, including 25 acres of greens sod; bentgrass varieties and Native Poa Annua. Great care is taken to produce a top quality product for the discerning end user. We continually review and improve growing procedures, equipment developments, input products, cultural practices, and keep striving to raise the quality bar.

In addition to our greens sod production we grow sod for athletic fields in the coastal regions of BC, WA and OR. We have sod products for residential customers as well; you can find out more on this website and place your order on-line.
